The Hurricanes have cemented a home semi-final after dismissing a disappointing Sharks team 41-0 in the capital. After leading 13-0 nil at the break in horrible conditions the Hurricanes used the wind to their advantage scoring four second half tries.
TJ Perenara and Beauden Barrett were again at their brilliant best utilising the conditions and steering the team around the park
This was the first time in Super Rugby history a side had been held scoreless in a playoff match.
Worrying signs for the Hurricanes with captain Dane Coles leaving the field early in the second half with a serious rib injury
